Your Weston Park: A Living History - booklet
The new booklet about Weston Park is now complete and was launched on Tuesday 30th October 2007, as part of the Off the Shelf Festival. The celebration event was held at Weston Park Museum and was attended by the Lord Mayor of Sheffield, Councillor Arthur Dunworth and the Lady Mayoress, Councillor Mrs Kathleen Chadwick. The event was open to the public; it was very well attended, with some guests so keen that they were queuing early to get in! The booklet is being distributed through various outlets by Sheffield City Council's Parks & Countryside team.
Thank you to everyone that helped us to create this record of why Weston Park is so special to so many people.

Party in the Park took place in Weston Park on 30th May 2007. This story gathering event was a great success despite the typical British weather. Many people came to Weston Park to take part in the range of activities on offer. See the Events page for photographs from the day.

Your Weston Park: A Living History - exhibition
An exhibition of photographs of the Park was very popular; the images were shown in Upperthorpe Healthy Living Centre and Broomhill Library during 2007 and prompted people to share their own memories with us.

The Your Weston Park project has now come to an end.
